The guides said the kids get plenty of social time during the afternoon workshops, but I didn’t see any of that. I saw ninety minutes of solitude.

It made me want to enroll him immediately, because every child deserves a teacher who doesn’t get bored. Sometimes he’s wrong and we’re both confused, and that’s fine too.

But I’ve realized that learning, for kids, isn’t just about mastering skills. It’s about breaking problems into smaller steps alongside someone who cares for you, even if that someone doesn’t have a perfect algorithm. The AI can teach math. It just can’t teach my son that his confusion is okay. That part, he still has to learn from a person.
